At Cosmically Coded Living, we are deeply committed to sourcing crystals and minerals as ethically and consciously as possible. While crystal mining is not yet regulated under official fair-trade standards, we intentionally work with trusted wholesalers who collaborate with family-owned mines and local artisans that prioritise:

• Ethical, low-impact mining practices.

• Fair wages and dignified working conditions.

• Respect for the land and local communities.

We recognise that the crystal and mineral industry is in a state of transformation and rebalancing. As this evolution unfolds, we remain in active dialogue with our suppliers to ensure transparency and responsibility at every level.

 

From a metaphysical perspective, the energy of a crystal is deeply influenced by how and where it is sourced. Mining methods can range from gentle, hand-collected surface specimens to small, hand-dug pits that are later backfilled and restored with original soil an approach that helps minimise environmental disruption.

 

Though we are not the miners ourselves, we hold it as our responsibility as stewards and distributors to remain discerning about our sources and to honour the human and Earth-based impact of this sacred work.

To support both environmental and energetic sustainability, we release our crystal offerings through a seasonal shop model, offering crystal collections just a few times per year. We intentionally source crystals in small, curated batches. This intentional pace helps reduce over-sourcing and honours the rhythm of the Earth. Wherever possible, each piece includes available origin details to promote transparency and traceability. We also use eco-conscious packaging, choosing recyclable, compostable, or minimal materials that are gentle on the planet. This is an evolving process, and we are committed to continuous improvement refining our practices as we grow in deeper harmony with Earth and community.

 

This is a living, evolving journey. We are continuously learning, refining, and listening both to the land and to the ethics of the wider supply chain.
